Drinking water in a sitting posture, or when you drink water in sitting down your muscles and nervous system are much more relaxed and it triggers the nerves to quickly digest the fluid and with-it other food items means all nutrients to absorbs. Opposite to it, when you drink water in a standing posture it ends up splashing the lower half of the esophagus very hard. This in return can disturb the sphincter, which is the joint between stomach and esophagus, and as a result the esophagus experiences burning sensation because of the acids in the stomach flowing backward.

As water is an abundant component of strengthen the bones and toxin removal means kidneys filtration properly, accounting for up to 25% by weight. Much of this water occurs in pore spaces responsible for nutrient diffusion and contributing to the viscoelastic property of the material. Even when water builds up in the body, it can cause bloating and puffiness, especially in the abdomen, legs, and arms.

So, make it a lifestyle habit to drink water in sitting posture for better absorption of its nutrients!
