  • Try “flipping” the food pyramid. You may be familiar with the food pyramid, which shows grains as the foundation. Instead, make fruits and vegetables the foundation of your diet, followed by grains, then protein foods and make sweets just an occasional treat.
  • Ground flax seeds are one of the best ways to improve laxation. It helps move stool out of your system. Try ground flax sprinkled on your cereal, salads, oatmeal, or yogurt. This is one of the single most effective ways to improve your body’s ability to cut waste.
  • Drink more water. Water, plain and simple, will make everything in body function better, including digestion and elimination. Don’t worry about the old advice – eight, 8-ounce glasses a day. Instead, use the color of your urine as a guide. If its pale yellow or straw-colored, you’re not getting enough water. If it’s any darker than this, drink up! If you have any kidney disease, consult with your doctor before increasing  water intake consumption.
  • Juices-made from the fruits and vegetables have excellent colon-cleansing properties. As well as fiber, they contain cleansing salts and enzymes while the water content of juices helps flush out toxins and accumulated waste from the colon.  ‘Juice fasts’ are a popular homemade colon cleanse option but can affect the glycemic response (insulin levels). If diabetic, consult professional before a juice fast.

Mucus in mucus
stool often indicates that there is intestinal inflammation. It could occur when either there is constipation or diarrhea. In normal case, it is whitish in color. Per alternative concept, more common causes of mucus in stool include
overgrowth, sensitivities and food allergies. With bacterial overgrowth, bloating and gas usually worsen after eating anything that contains sweets and sugar, whether it’s white sugar, bread, pasta, rice or milk (which contains the sugar lactose). If the tongue has a thick coating with teeth marks on the sides, greasy foods, dairy products, and wheat may be contributing to the mucus in stool. Avoiding these foods is often recommended, at least until the condition improves.

PIMPLES
A pimple, zit or spot is a small swelling in the skin caused by a blockage of a pore apparently appearing in teenagers. Recurrent or multiple pimples are termed acne. Many view pimples as unsightly, and try to avoid getting them, if possible. There are some ways to treat pimples before they seem, and options too after they arise.
A pimple forms when dead skin attempts to slough off but cannot, because of a stoppage in pores of skin. Commonly such stoppages are caused by pimplesoverproduction from the sebaceous glands, which normally work to keep healthy skin. Dirt and infection in a pore can also lead to a blockage that causes pimple. In some cases, it may become filled with pus. Many people want to instinctively pop a pimple when they see one. This is not actually advised, since it can drive blockage and infectious material further into the skin, leading to painful infections and unsightly scars. Only Whitehead and blackheads should be popped, and pus-filled, red pimples left alone. When a pimple is popped, or extracted, it should be done under sterile conditions, to cut the risk of infection, and a dermatologist or aesthetician should ideally perform the extraction, if required.
Once pimples emerge, they should be left alone and allowed to take their course naturally. In most cases, a pimple will subside after a few days. Try to avoid touching or irritating the pimple, and use clean hands if to touch it. Do not cover a pimple with makeup, as this can increase the severity.
As inside the pore are sebaceous glands which produce sebum. When outer layers of skin shed, the dead skin cells left may become glued together by the sebum and other bacteria causing infection and inflammation. This causes blockage in pores, especially when skin becomes thicker at puberty.
To avoid pimples, keeping skin clean is the best step, as one of the many results of excess oil getting trapped in pores. Clean skin is less likely to erupt in pimples, since regular washing and the use of an exfoliate will remove built up dead skin and dirt.

  • There may be some dietary changes that can be made to cut pimples, such as eating less fats and oils.
  • Avoiding stress is also a good way to cut the likelihood of breaking out.
